Carl
Sennhenn has taught poetry to virtually every age group. He¹s currently
the Associate Dean of Humanities at Rose State College, where he teaches
English and humanities and the faculty editor of the RSC anthology
Pegasus. His chapbooks include Harvest of Light and the Center
of Noon.
Appointment: 2001 by governor, ends in May 2003.

I was appointed poet laureate of Oklahoma in 2001 by Governor Frank Keating, and during my laureateship, which ends May 2003, I have done workshops in public schools, judged high school poetry contests, spoken to several writing groups of various ages about poetry and creative writing, and written poems, upon request, for events such as the Oklahoma Global Education Consortium and the Governor's Annual Arts Award program.
