James Baker Hall, Kentucky

James Baker Hall has taught creative writing at the University of Kentucky since 1973. His poems appear in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The American Poetry Review, Poetry, The Hudson Review, and The Kenyon Review, among others. He has received a NEA Fellowship in poetry, and has published five volumes of poetry, two novels, and four collections of photography; his latest, A Spring-Fed Pond, features photos of Kentucky writers.
